External Battery for SP-606????????

Post by BalancedScience »

Hi guys could you please tell me if it is worth while buying this battery for my sp606: Universal Portable DVD Player External Battery here is the link: http://www.gogo-power.co.uk/product_inf ... ts_id/1771

The sp606 needs a 9v input and the external battery gives 9v output. Guys do you reccomend me buy this battery.

Peace.

It seems OK.
39W / Hour should give you 4h autonomie with the Battery

Check for the right POLARITY before plug in!

Yam TX816, SY77, TG77; Kurz PC88; Rol Jv2080, VS1680, Fantom X6; Event 20/20; and my old MPC2000XL returned as midi MASTER

Yep. Seems risky to just jump in, you first need to know what kind of milliamps (mA) the Sp606 uses. Check the mAs on the players the mfr lists. If the mA is lower than the 606's rating (say, 800 mA on the adaptor/batt, 1,000 mA on the 606), expect something to fry. I'm no expert, but using a higher mA 9v multiadaptor with a lower mA 9v product hasn't caused me any problems.
