909 help

Post by davenport »

How do I assign different samples to each of the 16 pads individually? Also I need to know how to save samples to my memory card and retrieve them, Thank you.

Whats up

Check this thread out

Its for the MC-808 but the steps are pretty much the same on the 909. Difference being that you can do all the assigning on the 909 itself where on the MC-808 you have to use the software editor.

BTW the 909 DOES have its own software editor which makes it a bit quicker to assign samples to a Rhythm Kit.

If you dont have the software editor , you can download it here at our site :

speaking of the 909. was there ever a way to lock current lfo changes whenever switching to different patches, synths, etc.. whenever you toggle to the next your last lfo change disappears and goes to default.

No because an LFO seting is part of an individual patch , not a global setting.
