Backup Problem [SP-555]

Post by Mario132 »

Hello

I´ve got a problem with the backup. In the user manuel I have read that all banks can be saved. But if I make a backup (Cancel + Pattern C-J] I can only save Bank A + B. The other banks are not saved.

Is there a problem with the card or a protection?

I´m from Germany. I hope I have wrote understandly :)

TNX for helping

On this page, I read that the button C-J only are from the Compact Flash and A-B internal.

Is that correct, that only A-B can be saved? And C-J is always on the CF and can´t be saved ?

1. Banks A and B link to the samplers internal memory. Maximum of 32 samples can be recorded, with about 5 minutes of recording.

2. 128 samples can be recorded into the memory card.

Yes, but I use all Banks. And in a Live Session I have to change these Banks as fast as possible. And I´m not shure if I only can change Bank A+B with a Backup.

I'm no owner of this device. I'm going by the manual on Pages 12 and 15.

All i can think of is - If you can't recall a bank in time by switching through as you are playing with a backing track or however you cross link with music, logically I would have back up preparation for on the fly playing . Using a computer sequencer program and the sampler, you can't go wrong.

Please look on page 48. I have read that all D´data kann be store on a card.
If the sampler is playing, I don`t will play in a backup.

Please look on page 48. The sentence, that all data can be store in a backup file, thats why I´m so disapointed that I can only save A+B
