MC-909 pad replacment?
MC-909 pad replacment?
I need to replaces two pads on my machine. They have lost velocity. Does anyone know where to purchase the pads and exactly how complex is the 909 to disassemble to replace the pads?

Hello.
Its quite difficult to do, but with patience and a steady hand you should be ok. You need to dissemble everything to get to the pads.
Thats why I bought a 909 with good quality pads because the process looked a PITA.
There are a few guides on the webs with pictures. This is a good one you've probably googled it already:

Just take your time and go slow. You should be fine.
Good luck.

Alternatively why don't you just use a cheap Midiman midi keyboard to trigger your sounds. That would be even better than the working pads IMHO.
