Hello all i have been trying to hook up my roland mc 909 to be able to play its sounds on the maschine software / sequencer.
Im sure i have the maschine side of things set up but im having trouble geting the sounds from the roland to play inside maschine.
im going from maschine midi out to roland mc 909 midi in

but im not sure how to have my roland setting because the manual is not good
here are the midi options how to set them??
Seq Sync =
Synce Mode - Master / Slave / Remote
Sync Output - On / off
Arpeggio Sync Output - On/off
Rps Trigger Quantize - 16th / Quarter / Real / etc
BPM Clock - On / Off
Midi Tx =
Transmit program change - On/off
Transmit Bank Select - On/off
Transmit Active Sensing - Type CC / Type Quick
Transmit Edit Data - On/off
Soft Through - On/off
Midi Rx =
Remote Keyboard Switch - On/off
Device ID - 17 thru 32
Receive Program Change - On/off
Receive Bank Select - On/off
Receive Exclusive - On/off

Im not sure exactly how to do it but its in the midi settings in the menu you have to turn one of the top options off saw it in the mc 909 tutorial video i will need to do it soon as ill be getting a maschine soon 2 cant wait.
Actually with the sounds in the maschine i think the mc 909 may get a bit dusty in a cupboard for a while lol
