HELP!! MC-307 diying LCD!!!

Post by beatncore »

A few weeks ago, the LCD of my MC-307 began to behave strangely.
If I turn it on and leave it like that, the LCD stays ok. But if I'm working on it, on some of the times that the screen is "refreshed" (I mean, when some character is changed), it becomes distored. Not the 100% of it, but like 80%. The upper right corner stays ok.
If I turn it off and on, it starts ok again.

Any experience with that?? I got the the service manual, but it hasn't helped me. I can't tell if it is the LCD itself or somethig "behind".

Is there any way to buy replacement parts directly from Roland?
