Using the MC-307 for added sounds for the V-Drums

Hello everyone,
I'm looking to get some help with my MC-307. I've read through the manuals, but can't seem to get where I need to go.
I'm using a Roland V-Drum system to trigger the sounds in the MC-307. It's great for added sounds (aside from what I have in the TD-10 drum module). I can't divide the MC-307 into separate instruments. I'd like to be able to assign each drum pad to a specific sound (instrument) in the MC-307.
Can point me in the right direction?
Thanks
