Need MC-909 velocity pads??

Post by DaniH »

Syntaur currently has them for sale. Just ordered two sets of two myself.

I want to say I am not affiliated with syntaur.com but have ordered from them in the past and it’s great.

This is Not a (( Spam )) ~ *F.Y I.*, it is Option for those who are technical, and can D.I.Y. Repairs. - Sooner or Later parts will not be available no more. -- If you do resort to buy replacement parts instead, then buy double amount of parts so you have them stock.

NOTE: (on KEY CONTACT REPAIR KIT)
• You need to be really careful to respect drying times, or otherwise the powder coated graphite should stick where it is not allowed too and mess things a big time.

• Every liquid graphite will work since keys don't need a specific carbon resistance but just close the contact. An UV lamp will help to dry the carbon faster, with no cracks. Suggested to put twice, letting dry both layers.

Instead of using liquid graphite , spend a little extra and use silver, it will last waaay longer and silver conducts electricity waay better than graphite, Roland should have used silver from the get go
