Ebay patches?

Post by stratblue »

Anyone know what https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roland-V-Syn ... 1438.l2649 is?

because below it says 'Roland V-Synth XT Artist Patch Collection 2005 CF 128MB Not for sale" and it's $250!

I guess it's a set of artist patches that are used by a salesman in a store to demo some extra patches for a V-Synth or V-SynthXT. It probably was never meant for sale just for in store use. It is only a 128mb Compact Flash card so is not very big and the contents are probably available elsewhere for free.

Hey thanks.

But what about the bit where it says 'not for sale' and it's $250? It's such a weird ad. The only conclusion I can come to is that it's some sort of electronic download and the CF card pic is for the ad only.

I think it's a genuine ad and you'd get what's in the picture but in a perfect world it wasn't meant to be sold as it was meant just for the employees of a store pushing V-Synths so "not for sale". See it as a collectors item because it will probably be very rare, however like I say the contents are probably available elsewhere for free.

Just a quick update on the ebay item. It was sold for £187.10 ($250?). It would be nice if the buyer could list the contents.
