recording via USB

hi all, i was just wondering if its possible to record the v-synth to my pc using the USB connection.. im able to record staight to my pc with my guitar port USB connection so i know its possible to do.. any info would be great.. thanks

No, the original V-Synth doesn't have a USB audio streaming ability, only the new XT does.

Ok, thanks... is there any possibilty that with the version 2 update this will be possibe

Theoretically, it is possible to add USB-audio functionality in the V-Synth OS. But since it is not listen in V-Synth 2.0 features, I doubt they will be adding this.

Why not just use the digital ins and outs? Wouldn't that be the same thing?

Yes, indeed. USB audio is a really great new feature that lets you avoid purchasing a quite expensive sound card with all those bells and whistles (and USB MIDI too).
