PC card problem

Hi

new on my v-synth XT

I'm using a Verbatim Compact flash to pc card adapter and a Ridata 512mb pro-2 80x compact flash card.

when I try to save a project on it XT give me an error : File write error !

the card is formatted by Xt, what i'm doing wrong ?

more : if i mount the pc card via usb strange things happen : I copy file from a PC on the card and after they disappear from the card..

It seems a malfunction, maybe you should try another CF card. Even a used one just to see if it is recognized by the XT

Yeah, try a different card brand. I have a generic CF card in a PCMCIA converter that reads fine but crashes the V-Synth upon saving samples. I used a Sandisk CF in the same adapter and all was fine. Clearly the read/write of cards in the V-Synth is finicky.

I use a Kingston 1gig in mine with know probs, though in theory, any make should work, I got a name brand that was recommended on here as compatible. There is a thread about which cards work.
