PC card problem
Re: PC card problem
more : if i mount the pc card via usb strange things happen : I copy file from a PC on the card and after they disappear from the card..
Re: PC card problem
It seems a malfunction, maybe you should try another CF card. Even a used one just to see if it is recognized by the XTRedrain wrote:more : if i mount the pc card via usb strange things happen : I copy file from a PC on the card and after they disappear from the card..
Re: PC card problem
Yeah, try a different card brand. I have a generic CF card in a PCMCIA converter that reads fine but crashes the V-Synth upon saving samples. I used a Sandisk CF in the same adapter and all was fine. Clearly the read/write of cards in the V-Synth is finicky.
Re: PC card problem
I use a Kingston 1gig in mine with know probs, though in theory, any make should work, I got a name brand that was recommended on here as compatible. There is a thread about which cards work.
