I'm looking for a good vocoder to replace my Radias. I'm really impressed with the reviews and demos I've seen of Roland's Vocal processors. I already own an original V-synth, but it has become very hard to find the V-cards, and when I do see them they are usually around $400-$450 US. I've noticed that I can get a used VP-7 or VP-550 for around the same price. I'm curios to know how these different vocal synths stack up to each other. I've done a lot of reading and from what I can tell the VP-550, and VP-7 are based on the VC-2, But what are the major differences, and which would be the best out of the 3 options?
Thanks,
VC-2 vs VP-550 vs VP-7
Re: VC-2 vs VP-550 vs VP-7
I Have a VC-2 for sale for much cheaper than 450$, but I live in Ireland and have no idea how much would be the shipping costs to US.
