What gives? Most the projects I'm trying to load won't fit?
Re: Vsynth tech sheet says it has 50Mb of ram, mine shows 15
Thats because most of the RAM it is taken up by the presets.
if you want to get close to 50 you need to create a new blank project and work from there.
Or if you want a blank canvas on boot, press EXIT on power up.
You will also have to use a CF and move the internal project to it and delete the internal project from RAM
to get back the space you are missing, But you will still only get a max of 23.4MB.

By internal project do you mean the factory reset? I formated it, but still only 15 mb.
Re: Vsynth tech sheet says it has 50Mb of ram, mine shows 15
I mean delete the entire contents
press MODE/USB/INTERNAL
and from the pc delete all contents (after copying to a CF)
in this way.. when you boot without a CF you get complete empty vsynt with max ram
and then later you can choose to load a project from CF at any time.

Re: Vsynth tech sheet says it has 50Mb of ram, mine shows 15
I tried this. still only 15 mb available?
Re: Vsynth tech sheet says it has 50Mb of ram, mine shows 15
If you go to usb mode choose internal then check the contents on the pc you probably still have project data.
if you delete this it should give you back the extra few MBs.
but saying this.. if you boot up like this you have no internal wavs to make any sounds you will need to start sampling..
