I agree these pianos sound amazingly good!

I am more than happy to host them on jp-80.com but need permission to do so - I will get in touch with Ludovic and see what he says.

Indeed you are correct :)

The sound files are now available at www.jp-80.com - in the 'Other' section in both the GTv2 and XT sections.

Every V owner should get hold of these files - it's a great piano!

Thanks cello!

I also wish to add that it also show us how far we could go with the v-synth. Sampling the piano maybe was just the beginning. I should say that I never realize how powerful was the sampling on the v-synth before that.

I never really care to sample real instruments on the fantom X because most of them are already available and also because the fantom X is really slow loading samples but this whole project with all the piano patches loaded even faster than the internal prj. Which is truly great.

Danielwork,

Try adjusting the reverb and echo. On mine the reverb was way too high. The patch sounded much better after adjusting the effects. While it is not as good as a 4 velocity patch on the fantom X or G it is very usable once you tweak it a bit.

Hello,
I search actually a piano sound for my V-Synth (V2) because i just sold my Fantom X6.
The link for Berquin Piano seems dead.
Is someone know where i can find the files now ?
Thanks very much

Hi Nono
You can find them at
http://www.jp-80.com/gtv2/gtv2.html
Just scroll down to the bottom and look for "The Berquin Piano"

All the best
