Hardware issue w/ V-Synth (original)

Post by carlsagansghost »

Hello there.

I have a weird hardware issue with my original V-Synth. It was at a local (worthless?) repair shop for 3 months, before they finally called and said they couldn't fix it.

Here is the problem: The cut-off pot for COSM1 doesn't work, and the slider for the Release on the ADSR controls both the release AND the cut-off value of COSM1.

Anyone ever here of anything like this before?

I wouldn't mind just completely disabling (super glue!) the R slider, if it is possible to route the control of these two parameters to the assignable pots 1 and 2 - is this possible?

Thanks.

I'm guessing you like having knobs, but everything is accessible from the touch screen, including release and drive (which is the COSM cutoff).

I just looked at mine. I see in the system settings that the two assignable knobs only control MIDI CC messages 1-95, and nothing else.
