Hi. I just bought a used rackmount xt. I was very excited but it's not receiving midi. The guy I bought it from used an electronic sax to trigger it so I figured there might be some internal setting he had to use that is messing me up, but I've been all through the menus and reset everything I could, but still doesn't work. Before I seek out a repair shop I thought I would ask here.

I've hooked it to two different controllers, tried each midi channel, the light on the front never comes on, showing no midi data received.

Any ideas?

Never mind. I took it in for repair today. Hopefully it won't cost too much and is a quick fix.

1st thing i would have done is a factory reset.
then a firmware upgrade (again)

Hopefully it all works out.. xt is an awesome piece of gear
