Anyone has Sinevibes V-Synth patches?
I contacted them and had a reply that those are no longer available.
Thanks!
Sinevibes V-Synth patches
Re: Sinevibes V-Synth patches
I too unsuccessfully tried to find those patches (V-Lectrics and V-Motion) a while ago. I've also listened at some demo but was not much impressed by them.
This being said, have you listened to the Jama analog Legend here: https://youtu.be/mIq716_A330 ? To me it's one of the very best available bank for the v-synth. (works with XT and GT too)
Also you can still download most of the free patches available on this site here:
- V-synth: http://rolandclan.com/library/v-synth/
- XT: http://rolandclan.com/library/v-synth_xt/
- GT: http://rolandclan.com/library/v-synth_gt/

Re: Sinevibes V-Synth patches
Ohhh,
I forgot to mention the great "repository of sounds for Roland keyboards" there: http://www.jp-80.com/
You will find many excellent free banks for the V-synth as well as the Jupiter-80 and the FA-06/08 there!

Re: Sinevibes V-Synth patches
Believe it or not, but I think that I have every available bank for the V Synth.
I bought Jama's library (which is really, really nice but has a "vintage" vibe to it) as well as Kinetic Sound Prism.
I'm looking to compose one or two projects of the best sounds for instant inspiration.
btw, I just love that machine.
Here's what I currently have -

Oh! I see that you're a collector :)
Humm, I'm sure there's more out there... I would have to dig a little more but here is what I have for now that I don't see in your list
- Synthline (JL) PulsarSystem: http://www.synthdesign.de/rolandVS1.htm#Pulsarsystem
- A few from JP-80: Dreamwork, Cello, Berquin Piano and some others. Mostly in the "Others" section.
- You will also find some free and paid bank there: http://www.chipcollection.com/

Re: Sinevibes V-Synth patches
Thanks!
You can see above, I have Pulsar System, it's under "RC".
I have most of the "others" from JP-80, but I didn't take Cello, as it's a compilation, similar to the one Paulo made, only much smaller...
regarding the Berquin Piano - I didn't take this. I won't be using the V-Synth for piano. I have the Integra 7 which has some great pianos there.
Chip Collection - I thought of buying it, but judging from the description, I'm not sure it will fit for me. it seems as if VA sounds are a minority in this library - am I correct to assume? do you have it? what are your thoughts of it?
btw, many libs (especially the S.A.D stuff) didn't work at first, but then I removed all *.s00 files and now everything works.
I have much work in the librarian in order to make a nice library for myself from all those sounds, especially if I want to have all pcm data intact. how do you work with it?
side note, the V-Synth is indeed great at VA sounds. and the mixture with pcm oscillators and modulations everywhere make it really great for patch design. but what I didn't expect, is the heavy aliasing on the high notes which is a bit weird as its not using sampled oscs...
