Is it still possible to load a sample via USB?

Using an iMac (I think I'm running Yosemite) is it still possible to load a new sample into the V-Synth XT via USB or is this software no longer supported?

Earlier today I got it confirmed from a Roland Support rep that the V-Synth usb driver for mac doesn't support the latest macOS. But by opening Disk Utility you should see the drive, being able to open it in finder for loading samples or dismount it. Worked for me today on a V-Synth 2.0 with latest macOS on a MBP Retina.
