Can't connect to PC Card, only to internal memory

Hi,

I see a lot of posts about missing drivers etc but I'm really only interested in file transfer. I'm on OSX El-Capitan and can connect to the internal memory jut fine, it shows up on the desktop and everything works great. But, I can't do the same with PC Card and that's the one I need to transfer samples to.

Any ideas why that is?

Thanks!
R

******** EDIT ***********

IT WORKS, just needed to wait for something like 5-10 minutes. Isn't that in itself odd? Why so long?

The V-synth's digital technology is getting on in years. And I think even when it was designed, Roland didn't exactly use state-of-the-art technology. We are now used to data transfer rates that are orders of magnitude faster than just a few years ago. I think your V-synth is probably working exactly as designed.

Still faster than having to sample everything through the analog ins :)

Thanks

While we're on the subject,

Can someone explain the procedure of converting older "Refill" patches to ver 2 V-Synths?

I understand I need to create a new project and paste the patches and waves into them, but what is the best way to go about this? I find the V-Synth memory architecture highly confusing...

Cheers
