Does V-Synth and GT have the same sounds?

Hi there,
Im looking for a GT, but they are all out of my price-range. I found some v-synths for an acceptable price, but I'd need the sounds from a GT so I want to know if both synths have the same factory sounds.

I only have a V-Synth v2 so I'm not sure but I guess the GT has different factory sounds. If I recall well, the GT basically is a double V with some extra features so it would be strange they just kept (all) the "old" V sounds.

The consensus is that they sound almost identical accept the Gt has a little more clarity in effects and sound but i think its splitting hairs and in post production we all use eq for this
