Laggy program changes

I've found using the V Synth XT real time problematic if I send a program change to load the sound, often the 1st note will be missed while the patch loads, even if it's the same patch reloading itself each time the sequencer restarts the sequence. However, if this is a problem for you the dodge I've found is to edit the patch on part 1, which is what you see on the screen as you would normally using whatever channel it's set to but do all the performance stuff on another part set to a different channel because it seems to be the screen update that causes the lag. Patch loads are instant this way.
