User RPS WORKS! Here's how

"Ok firstly I can tell you the RPS pattern works fine I use it all the time,
I may not explain it to well but just get back to me if you don't understand
it.
Make an RPS set
Then save the RPS set
Then go into the Menu { to the right of the screen }
Then file utility
Then USER
Then Roland
Then SEQ
Then RPS
Then hold down the shift button { under and to the left of the screen }
Mark set all
Then copy
Then CARD
Then ROLAND
Then SEQ
Then RPS
Then Exec
Turn the machine off and when you start it again it's sorted.
Any problems just get back to me,

Criminal  (www.industrialfunk.com} for bringing this to my attention. Sorry Roland peeps, but nobody at Roland ever brought this workaround to my attention, a user did. I wouldn't have made a big deal about it if I'd known of this! RTFM doesn't always help. I'm jazzed though, this is very very good for live use!

You did? Only one I remember is where you said it worked, but you didn't really say how, just that you were able to personalize and save them.

It's a workaround...meaning, the standard procedure doesn't work, you have to use this somewhat strange method. But, it's better than nothing!
