MC 808/909 as backup for Fantom X

I am working in Europe this summer,and would like to use either an MC808 or 909 as a way of taking my sequence and sampled songs without lugging the Fantom X7. Can I import my SVQ & MID files into these units? Can I create sequences in linear form? Please respond Mr. Acosta, or anyone else familiar with these groove boxes.
