Hi.
I absolutely love this machine! As Miss Kittin once said, "Happy Hour, Sun Shower , 808's give you power"
I digress..
My question regards using an external midi device. I have a nord g2 hooked up to the midi out.
I went to part 1. pressed [shift]+[Part Param]
Went to Seq Output Asgn. Changed this to [Ext]
Now, when I play that sequence it only plays through the nord g2 BUT when I audition or record it plays through BOTH the g2 and the internal 808 patch.
How can I get the internal sounds to mute during auditioning, recording and playing back?
Thanks!

Have you tried just muting the wave/tone for that patch? I'm not sure that is the "real" answer but it might work. I think you hit shift and then turn off any of the tone (1-4) switches that are on. Post back if that works.

You can part mute it with the buttons on the 808's front panel.
