Suppose I have a song that contains several patterns. During playback, I decide that I want to set one of the channel faders to a different leven than is recorded with the pattern.
When the next pattern starts, the fader will immediately jump to the level recorded on that pattern, causing an abrupt change in volume.
No problem, you say: Just hold on to the fader to keep it from moving. Well, it doesn't work: The volune still changes and the fader continuously tries to keep moving to the new level. I have to let go of the fader, let it move to the new level, and then drag it back to where I want it, causing a glitch.
The "MR" mode lets me preserve the channel mute settings from one pattern to another; shouldn't there be a similar mode that also preserves the fader settings?
