problem with ram mc 808

Pleas can someone help me out!?

I'v tried about 4 different 512 sdram ( kingston )
and they don't work in the mc 808,

It says dimm error
or when the mc starts up instead of 514 mb ( 512 and 2 )
It says 2028 mb ??

And the samples sound awfull alot of noise and tweaks?

BUT WHEN I TAK E THE ADDIOTIONAL OUT OF THE MC808 it works great! but without addional Ram i can't use the chop function etc........

What must i do ?

Try Samsung RAM.

Today i took the mc808 back to the roland-dealer,

He examined the mc 808 , called tech-service from roland,
and they said that mine mc 808 was broken!

Lucky for me the roland dealer had a new one in stock, and we tested the new one, with my kingston ram, and it works perfect!

So problem solved,!!
