MC808 HELP

Trying to get the track that I saved on the 808 onto my pc.

I've connected it usb
set the usb mode to internal
and opened the folder that pops up

inside the folder I find that the files are in MCS form.

Can anyone help me to open them in FL6 or Soundforge for playback and wav editing?

I would greatly appreciate any help.

MC-808's songs are sequences which trigger samples and patches. Only the 808 can read and play them. To have your song as a WAV file, you need to "resample" it first. I do not have the 808 but the manual should be straight on how to do this.

I just read a dif thread and I'm guessing that I can't usb the file off. I have to connect it to the audio input on my pc sound card and then record it to a program like cubase or soundforge...

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi stlifemuzakpro, as artemio said you can sample your whole song in one sample. That sample *.wav file can then be copied via usb to your computer. Have a look at your manual under "resampling".
