those 2 bugs (part 6,15 and New Lib) are gone now.

Artemio, your Juno-G library accompanying Fantom tweak book is a jewel. thanks.

Hi Folks,

this is an updated version of the mc-808 patch librarian, version 1.3. New feature: Export selected patches as midi files to a directory.

Much fun,

Dirk.

Once again, many thanks.

I'll check out some of these later.

Not really got to grips with it all yet. Just been messing and mainly going through internal sounds and patterns.

I may need assistance in trying to sync all this up to my PC for MIDI recording using two devices (microKORG and MC808) which will need to be locked in sync for audio recording.

But....will start another thread on that.

All the best for the New Year everyone!

Hi,
this sounds like a really good program,
1 quest.
Do one have to maintain a connection with the computer in order to get to these patches or can they be stored within the MC?

Hi,

you can store them on the mc as USER or CARD patches.

More detail - how to load m8l files ito mc808

Post by moondog »

Hi Vanderson - first: love your songs!!, second: i'm total newbe here and I love this site.

I downloaded all the juno-g patches and converted them to mc808 format. My question is. Do I need to connect my midi in and out cables to my mc808 via my midi in and oud busse from my sound card or is there an easier way to load the patches into my mc 808? Is it possible to load them into the card directly via my PC and then put th card back into th mc 808? I need more details on how to load these patches in the best and easiest way.

Stay tuned fellow

Hi moondog,

you must connect the mc-808 via usb or midi to your pc (usb is much faster). After that start the librarian and select the proper midi input and outputs (MC-808).

Now select the patch that you want to transfer and press [Send]. Now the patch is in the temporary buffer of the mc-808 and you can WRITE it to a memory location.

Ciao, Dirk.
