tmp audio import file disappeared

tmp audio import file disappeared
last time i used it it was fine, this time when i went to load more samples the tmp audio file has gone. i go to my computer and it says mc808 card (E), i click that and there are the usual roland and tmp folders there, i click on tmp folder and there is an icon which just says @file under it. what should i do?

I've the same problem with my 808 about @ file and also my folder arelike chinese boxes inside roland or temp i find always others couple of them and so on and on .... help !!!!

Hi,
regarding life cycle of CF cards you should consider that they at some day start to give unreliable behaviour. I had that with several cards (thanks god not on MC-808). The best way to go is to do backups to a computer on a regular base (e.g. once a week).
I also use several cards. One for each project. This helps to cut down boot time and also limits the loss of data/ideas in the case that a card bombs out.
