MC-808 a legacy product

Post by Atziluth »

Some products from the Roland homepage have been moved to the legacy site.

So, now you can't find the MC-808 on their homepage (for active products) but on the legacy page.

Would this mean somthing new is on the way??

Looking forward to this.

PS: Also the Fantom X series are now on the legacy pages, these products where some days before still on the first page of the synth category. Roland did some update of the HP.

Does anyone know if there are any planned further updates to the 808 operating system?

The 808 is a great machine, but it could be so much better with a few more software tweaks.

Chris, we need to wait till NAMM or Messe for any major announcements. As of OS updates, after the product has been discontinued, usually it only gets fixes, rarely there would be new features. But it is always good to post your wishes here.

Hello from France,

I hope that Roland make a "Big Groovebox" as MC-909 with V-SYNTHN GT features for the NAMM SHOW 2010.......
Peace from France, Matthieu.
