Need help with software editor setup

Post by reknown »

I followed the manual, in usb midi mode on 808, midi soft through is off, and remote kbd is off, I have installed roland usb midi driver, and using the usb to connect to cpu, problem I have is with MC-808 input and output port in the options dialog of the software to MC-808, don't know how to set it up so I don't get the usb midi configure error when I start the editor, I would like to take a sample chop it up in software editor and send it back to 808 to play the chop sample on the pad.

thx for any help!

Maybe yous could tell me what you have your midi setup option on, in the software editor drop down option relative to your setup. Also in the same option drop down menu, what is the through option on?

Hi,

settings are:

MC-808 in USB-Midi-Mode
MC-808 Input : MC-808
MC-808 Output: MC-808
Device ID : 17 (matches setting on MC-808)

Bye, Dirk.
