Press [PATTERN] and then [SHIFT] + [ERASE]. Select source bar 1 and the the maximum end bar. After that select event type "ALL" and press [ENTER]. But when I do that I press play and there seems to be nothing there( no parts or sound). can someone help. maybe Im not understanding how to do it correctly

Hi,

all the pattern functions will work on the parts where the part buttons are lit. So after pressing [Shift]+[Erase], make sure that only these part lamps are lit that should be erased. By default all lamps are lit.

Bye, Dirk.

this does not work for me.. !!
I make sure, only that part is lit which I want to erase..
but after that all parts are erase..

the only way which work for me is recording in real time with option replace..

Hi Dirk,

I did try it many times, I got switched on Pattern, the only part is lit which I want to erase, all other are not lit, they are just blinking, than I press [SHIFT] + [ERASE] and enter. But the result is all pattern is erased, not only the specific part.

Is something wrong on my steps?

I can only erase the part with real time recoding with option replace.. thats the only way it works.

Hi,

the trick is:

1) press [Shift] + [Erase]
2) Now make only the part you want to erase lit
3) Now press [Enter}

Please try that entry.

Bye, Dirk.
