Arpeggio Styles using notes/pitches

Hey guys,

I tried to program my own Arpeggio Style using different notes (Referring to page 55 in the manual or on this attached picture). After programming (still in EDIT mode) and then previewing my entered notes, my arpeggio plays correctly with it's respective notes/pitches.

Then I press the STOP button, to stop the recording of this arpeggio style (this is on slot User0001). When I press any pads, the actual arpeggio rhythm/timing is correct,, however the notes/pitches is not changing!! It only plays the notes that I'm currently pressing.

Questions:
1. Is that behavior normal?
2. Does this happen to your MC808?
3. Is it possible to program an arpeggio with varying notes; not just same notes with different octaves being played?
4. Do I have to program another function
