I guess it doesnt work with the mc-909...

I don't get the point, Roland seriously living in the past ?!

Staying at the IT example, Its like that if Intel would say : " Our latest processor will work in Your few years old motherboard but count it that it will only performs at 80486 25Mhz level :D "
