MC-808 Noisy outputs??

Post by stiggofthedump »

Hi,
I've been a long time Roland user (still have my first gen mc-303 kicking around) and just added a used mc-808 to my setup. I was all smiles until I plugged it into my board and noticed an unforgivable hum from every one of the outputs ... I've noticed a few mentions of this online but am a tad shocked. Is this so - is there a fix? Is it a power supply issue - any input would be much appreciated as it's currently useless for recording with this amount of output noise.
Thanks muchly

For anyone facing the same thing, a generic replacement adapter (12V, min. 1500Ma) solved the issue for me :)

Not Roland, no ... I bought some no-name brand at walmart ... 12V, minimum 1500 mA ... works like a charm so far.
