Всем Привет!
Я нашел способ как заставить работать МС-808 вместе с OSX 10.9.1 по миди
Решение оказалось достаточно простым:
1. Взять файл Archive.pax.gz из установочного пакета
MC-808 Driver Ver.1.0.0 for Mac OS X v10.7
http://www.roland.com/support/article/? ... d=62152178
2. Поместить его в этот установочный пакет (с заменой)
MC-808 Driver Ver.1.1.0 for Mac OS X v10.2 / v10.3 / v10.4 / v10.5
http://www.roland.com/support/article/? ... id=1812552
3. Установить драйвер.
4. Презагрузить мак.
все работает!
ps: прошу прощения за грамматику, писал быстро. былобы здорово если бы кто-нибудь перепроверил этот способ и превел на английский.

Hi, here is a Google translation:

Hi everyone!
I found a way to make it work as MS-808 with OSX 10.9.1 on midi
The solution turned out simple enough:
1. Take the file from the installation package Archive.pax.gz
MC-808 Driver Ver.1.0.0 for Mac OS X v10.7
http://www.roland.com/support/article/? ... d=62152178
2. Put it in this installation package (with replacement)
MC-808 Driver Ver.1.1.0 for Mac OS X v10.2 / v10.3 / v10.4 / v10.5
http://www.roland.com/support/article/? ... id=1812552
3. Install the driver.
4. Prezagruzit poppy.
It works!
ps: I apologize for the grammar, writing quickly. byloby great if someone checked back this way and Preveli English.

Thanks to ionic for the post.

Hi !

Thanks a lot for this ! It worked perfectly for me.
But I'm wondering now if the driver will still work after updating to OSX Yosemite, does anyone have an idea ? Or do you think that the same trick will work again ? Has anyone tried it yet ?

Thanks for your answers, fellow MC808 users !

Hi,

Replacing Archive.pax.gz works perfectly on Mavericks, but not with Yosemite. First of all, installation gave me an alert that it's not possible to install the driver on this version of osx.
I then replaced the executable InstallationCheck by the previous one, and I have been able to install the driver but it doesn't work, the mc808 isn't detected. I've not searched more, fault of time. So right now I'm using midi cables and I suggest you to do the same if you want to upgrade to Yosemite :(

Thanks for your answer, I guess it will end up this way… But if anyone comes up with another solution you are very welcome to post it here :)

I did a clean install of Mavericks to try this out, but can't install the Editor as it is PowerPC.
Does anyone know a way around this? Or am I destined to revert back to Snow Leopard to get the Editor working ...?

Another reason to avoid Apple. They are so restrictive and decisive, it's disgusting.
