possible to have diff sample start times ?

vocal sample for example, is it possible to have it start @ the start in say bar 5 and at another point in bar 9 or xxxx other? or do i need to make a copy of the sample?

ok after thinking i have the answer

make the sample into slices and make a rhythm, that way i can select the slice i want

having to change my brain from elektron methods to roland

If there's a will there's a way...but yeah sometimes you gotta think outside the box and come up with work around solutions.
