Having just got myself a 909 and learning its workflow could someone advise me on the following please.
I've sampled some .wav files and want to assign them together with a couple of on-board samples to individual 'Parts'/Tracks. To do this do I have to first record them as RealTime or TR-REC into the parts/tracks as PATTERNS ?

you can do TR or live rec

have you figured how to assign them to their own tracks?

select the track, source the part/sample you wish to use and enter rec mode of your choosing
