After MC-808 System Update Version 1.03 my MC 808 groovebox doesn't work anymore.
I put the Roland folder containing MC808UPD.BIN files on CompactFlash SanDisk 512MB and I inserted compact flash in MC 808, I followed the procedure with power on ... the update started ... 3 min ... The message COMPLETED appeared on the display.
I turned on the power, took out the card and restarted .... the message "Roland MC-808 sampling groovebox" appears on the screen and otherwise nothing works at all, I can't give "Factory Reset" , I can't press any button. ..nothing is all dead.
My MC 808 groovebox is like new, I only used it occasionally, maximum 20 hours of operation, otherwise it was in the bag and kept carefully.
Please help me!

From the service manual...
If the update fails
• Turn off the power, and then turn it on again to execute the update again.
• If the update fails again, it is probably that the update card was not
created correctly. Please repeat the process of creating the update card,
and try the update again.
