I tried importing the files, but the software said "what type of file is:"
I do think Logic is powerful and should be able to import all sorts of media files. Did i do the sequence wrong or actually need some procedures before that?

Import of wav or mp3 in Logic
What version of Logic do you use? I think version 6 upwards is required to do this. I have no problems with .wav or .mp3 imports.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here, at the top of the screen you have various options to select, I believe that you are attempting to open an audio file within Logic using this process - FILE - OPEN - , this is for MIDI files & Songs/Projects.
Try using this method - AUDIO - IMPORT AUDIO FILE - Select file to open, this is for audio files.
Let me know how you get on dude.

Re: import .wav and .mp3 in Logic
it just writes : "What type of file is it - "
Its strange cuz I don't think logic won't support mp3 or wav since it could output both of them. Moreover, Logic is kind of professional and can't ignore this important function.
