Well, it was a mystery to me. But I think that I figured it out.
I had installed the Waldorf Edition on my Mac, and also on my PC. In both cases, the program would just do all kinds of weird things. The problem was that I hadn't done any serious troubleshooting.
Then, I just decided one day that I didn't like the PPG and the Attack software. (Believe me -- it wasn't that hard to hear that these pieces of crap weren't going to help me to create any big hit songs.) So, I uninstalled the W. Edition, and presto! I have no more problems.
That's it.

V-Cee:
It was BOTH on the Mac and the PC. Yes -- for real. And I may sell my MacBook Pro. It just doesn't perform up to snuff.
I would buy a Mac Pro, but I don't have, you know, $2,800 (!) bucks lying around. I will, when I can afford it, have my PC upgraded.
I'm sorry, but I'm no longer feeling the Mac-love. Macs are okay -- but now I've had two Macs, and neither has performed the way that I had hoped.
