Simultaneously record Audio and MIDI in Logic and Cubase

Post by Andy Keys »

Hi, does anyone know if it's possible to record MIDI and Audio in Logic at the same time?
It would be coming from my Fantom X, straight to the computer's audio/MIDI interface.

Cheers

All you need is enable multiple tracks for recording, that's it.

Fab, thanks. So if a track is record enabled it's listening to whatever input it's set to.
I guessed it would be simple; I just couldn't see the wood for the trees when I was trying to do it!

Cheers Art.

Yes, exactly. Even GarageBand can do it BTW, really nice. There is a limit on the amount of tracks you can record, but it should be well enough for real world (GB can do 8 tracks, Logic should be able to do more I think).
