Hello,

I have the MX-1 connected to my MacBook Pro OS Monterey and many hardware (synths, drum machines, etc) devices connected to it as well. Since Catalina my MX-1 won't play audio from my MacBook Pro Catalina and now Monterey (some apps), it will play audio just fine from the hardware connected to it. I do have the latest firmware installed, the device pops up in my audio selection on the MacBook Pro, but even after selected the audio won't play, interestedly enough, some apps plays audio normal through the MX-1 (DAWs, Logic Pro X, Serato Studio, Ableton, etc music related apps), but, Youtube, Spotfy, or any app on the internet, Facebook, instagram, etc wont play audio... any input will be appreciated

On your New MacBook Pro Mx1, pick Apple menu > System Preferences, click Sound , then click Output. Ensure "Interior Speakers" is chosen, the "Result volume" slider isn't the entire way to one side, and the Mute checkbox isn't chosen.

Just open "AUDIO MIDI SETUP" on your comp, and click on MX-1.
Then "Configure Speakers"
There you can choose the outputs, left and right.
On the MX-1 the 17+18 are dedicated for PC out, so choose theese.
