Is it possible to record the sound coming from my MacBook into Ableton live?
I use the fantom as my interface via usb.
I hear the sound of my MacBook through the main outs of the fantom (via usb) but I can not get the sound in Ableton to record it?
Audio recording of the 16 zones (fantom) into Ableton is working fine though, but the sound of the MacBook is not coming into Ableton?

Unfortunately I don't know what the 'fantom' is capable of on the hardware and software side of things. However, you could use something like loopback to merge whichever audio stream coming from the macbook you want into Ableton: https://rogueamoeba.com/loopback/
