Any Nuendo/Cubase users in here?

Post by tablist56 »

im looking at the "device setup" in nuendo and i have no idea on what needs to be checked.

here is what it looks like at the moment...

DEFAULT MIDI PORTS
midi input - not connected
midi output - microsoft gs wavetable SW synth

VST AUDIO BAY
master asio driver - ASIO4ALLv2
release asio driver in background - YES

VST INPUTS
1 - sigmatel audio 1 - yes (visible)
2 - sigmatel audio 2 - yes (visible)

VST OUTPUTS
1 - not connected - yes (visible)
2 - not connected - yes (visible)

VST SYSTEM LINK
1 - sigmatel audio 1 - asio input
1 - not connected - asio output

once i have these settings correct im pretty sure its just a matter of arming a midi track and recording.
also, am i using the best driver for minimal latency? i d/l'ed and installed the asio4all drivers, is that going to be ok?
if someone could explain what i need to do that would be really appreciated.

You have to select from Devices/Device Setup/vst Audiobay and to the box of Master ASIO Driver to select the ASIO of your audio interface or a freeware.
That's for hiring anything.
If you want to hear and write Midi from your Juno G then conect juno midi out to the Midi in of your audio card, midi out to midi in and finally main audio out to the audio in of your audio card.
