yeppers, its nice. Linux audio kernel, on debian

its cool but the interface needs leaves alot to be desired. Also a steep learning curve for people used to win or mac... And installation for beginners can be a bit demanding.

otherwise, really stable plus the huge upside of useing true 64bit computing.

Ubuntu, is releasing its package soon...i cant wait. I am sure the interfaces will be really nice

Ok!!!!!....Now i have all the equipment....if i can just learn to play them.

I've just started experimenting with Linux about two weeks ago. Started with Ubuntu.

Trying to get Ubuntu, Ardour, Jack, and all the other stuff to work, was much more difficult than getting 64studio up and running. the 64 studio basically did everything.

So that thing runs under Linux? Great! I wish that all music companies would release Linux versions of their stuff. It would make my life so much easier. Well... maybe not. But at the least, it would probably make my computer run faster. As soon as I got everything working properly.
