Hey guys:
Here's an esoteric need. I am looking for a cursor-diamond mouse -- that is, an input device that mimics what cursor diamonds do on some synths. In fact, the Roland synths that I've used in my life have always had cursor diamonds.
What I wish would exist is a "mouse" whose action automatically moves the pointer on-screen to the nearest screen element. Thus, instead of having to navigate to, say, a knob in your VST synth or effect pane, you could just "cursor over" to it. This would eliminate the frustrating behaviour of most mice, in which you inevitably have to strain your eyes (and your hand) to position the stupid arrow right over the exact screen element that you are trying to control.
I have difficulty finding things like this on search engines, so if anyone here knows of such a product, PLEASE post information about it right here. Thank you.
