Cheapest way for Youtube HD

Post by Nord72 »

Hi all,

I'm just recently bought a new pocket cam for HD recording (basicaly its 720p)
I have to tell this little Kodak Zx1 HD is an amazing mashine for the bucks.

1.6 MP 720p HD video recorder onto SD/SDHC card(s).
And the most interesting part is the capability to record 60 FPS 720p video!!!

It was under 100 Euro in a local store and that was a love at first sight :)

I think its a nice little pocketcam for any YoutubeHD experiences :)

I'll upload some videos in the upcoming days, btw there are lots of test videos that showing how amazing this little camcorder.

Nord72 !

I just had a look at the demo and I thought, man ` now that is something cool and handy to have on the fly, any where you go. I'm happy to see it's not a phone as phones have the same stuff, but with lacking frame rate accuracy. Not sure how accurate this little baby is practically, but it would be sure worth having one in the pocket.

Probably You saw that this cam has a mini-HDMI socket on its left side and has a free hdmi cable in the box so its not a problem to connect it to a HD Ready TV.
I've been already tried it with my LG plazma and the picture quality was stunning :)

For indoor usage its necesary to use an 500W reflector in the background cose its not so sharp in a low light enviroment.

Recording fast moving things with 60 fps is its native strenght!
On a sunny day the picture is very sharp and bright, cool quality.

Does this camera have a audio in on it? This would be a perfect camera to record some rehearsals or even a small gig.

No, this cam has just a built in mic.
But You can edit it into Virtualdub and insert Your own audio track.
Notice that Youtube HD actually supports up to 234 kbps mp3 audio track in the video.
