Hi, I a have recently purchased a Roland A-49 midi keyboard and I have also purchased a Um-One cable. My problem is that I have no midi keyboard software for Windows. Does anyone know of good free midi keyboard software that I could download. I am looking for basic software that would allow me to use the Um-One cable. I will most likely only require a grand piano setting.

Thanks a lot for any assistance, much appreciated.

You don't need the UM One with the A-49, it connects to a computer with USB. As far as free instruments there are hundreds, search google for "free piano vst" and try them all in a DAW or VST host and see which sound you like best.
