Aerophone Go (AE-05)

Post by robbiem »

So, I bought the Aerophone Go, and I'm fairly happy with it.

Two questions:
1) I can't seem to get it to connect to my phone via USB (Android Samsung S8) even though the app and the manual both seem to think it is as easy as plugging the right cable in.

2) The other is more involved. The reason I've opted for the AE-05 is that I have a permanent injury to my left hand, leaving me without enough movement to play an acoustic wind instrument easily. Everything else works fine, but the octave thumb buttons are awkwardly placed for me.

Is there any patch or clever way to repurpose other key(s) as octave keys? The right-hand thumb button would be a favourite, but anything else would do...

I feel your pain. I use two Handsonics: Hpd-10 and Hpd-20 and the last post about these percussion synthesizers was five years ago. I have an Aerophone Mini inbound and just saw that your post is the only one that comes up from a search of "Aerophone". Good luck. If the Minis allows changing the octave keys I'll let you know.
